Commonly Asked questions about Tractel Corso Push Trolley:

1. What is the Tractel Corso Push Trolley used for?
The Corso Push Trolley is used to move hoisting equipment like chain blocks or lifting devices along an overhead I-beam. It enables easy horizontal transport of suspended loads in workshops, warehouses, or construction sites.

2. What capacities are available for the Corso trolley?
The Corso range covers various working load limits (WLL), typically from 250 kg up to 5 tonnes. Higher capacity models (up to 10 t or more) are available on request

3. What is the difference between a push and a geared trolley?
Push trolley: Moved manually by pushing the load or trolley itself.
Geared trolley: Operated using a hand chain, allowing for more controlled movement—ideal for heavier loads or frequent use.

4. What beam sizes does it fit?
Each Corso model is adjustable and fits a wide range of I-beam flange widths. For example, standard models cover flange widths from 58 mm to 220 mm. Always check the spec sheet to confirm flange compatibility.

5. Can I use this trolley with any hoist?
Yes, as long as the hoist has a suitable suspension hook or shackle and the combined weight of the hoist and load doesn’t exceed the trolley’s rated capacity.

6. Is it suitable for sloped or curved beams?

The Corso is designed primarily for straight horizontal beams. Some versions can handle very slight slopes, but for curved tracks, a different trolley system may be needed.

7. Is certification included?
Yes. All Corso trolleys sold through certified lifting suppliers include CE marking and a certificate of conformity as per EN standards.

8. Does it require any maintenance?
Minimal. The sealed ball bearings are maintenance-free. You should visually inspect the trolley regularly for wear or misalignment, especially in high-use environments.

9. Can it be installed by one person?
Yes. The Corso trolley is designed for quick and easy installation using a locking crank or handle, making it suitable for single-person mounting in most cases.
